Skills Programmes

A Skills Programme is an occupation-based learning programme aimed at building skills that have economic value and which incorporates at least one unit standard. It is registered by a SETA and delivered by an accredited training provider and it leads to a qualification registered on the NQF.

Food Safety & HACCP Training

A learner achieving this unit standard will be able to apply sound food safety principles by identifying risk factors in food contamination and applying preventative measures to ensure product safety

Advance Customer care

The focus of the programme is building customer relationships through effective customer care. There is a strong emphasis on improving customer satisfaction, using retention techniques and recovery strategies and monitoring, and improving customer service levels.

Basic Computer skills

The focus of the programme is to empowering the candidates with the basic computer technologies used at the workplace environment

Entrepreneurial skills

The purpose of the skills programme is to develop the appropriate skills and knowledge required by a person for the establishment and
development of a small to medium business venture, and address the economic, administrative and behavioural (psycho-social)
barriers that contribute to success in starting and sustaining the venture.

Waiter and Barista Training

This skills programme has been developed for people in the food and beverage service industry (hospitality). It brings together elements of food and drink preparation and service as well as supervision.
